     作及物動詞時意為“拿，取；采取；接受（禮物等）；買，花費；耗費（時間等）”，
     作不及物動詞時意為“拿；獲得”，
     作名詞時意為“捕獲量；看法；利益，盈益；（入場券的）售得金額”。

     1. It takes me two hours to go to work and come back by bus every day.

     2. I took the phone, and she went discreetly into the living room.

     1.be taken aback 大吃一驚。如：
     I’d been taken aback by his behaviour at first, but it didn’t seem so shocking later on.

     2.take down
     (1) 寫下，記下。如：
     My colleague will show you the flat while I take down your personal details.

     3.take something up  開始對…感興趣，開始從事。如：

     7.take off
     (1) 脫下。如：
     Take off your wet clothes. 脫下你的濕衣服。

     (2) 起飛。如：

     8.take it out of  使精疲力竭。 如：
     Parties and tours can take it out of you, especially if you are over 65.
